Material Deviation in Two-Component Spraying Construction

The main causes of accidents caused by accidental curing of two-component coatings in barrels or equipment include:

Reason A: The viscosity of materials A and B is inconsistent

Solution: Add thinner on the slow side to adjust slowly, add 100-200 grams each time to try slowly, the balance is good, and the maximum of 1 group of ingredients does not exceed 1 kg


Reason B: The moisture of the paste curing agent is too high, which affects the viscosity of B paint and cannot be atomized

Solution: Consult the coating manufacturer and replace the curing agent


Reason C: The wear of pump maintenance kits A and B is inconsistent and the work is not synchronized

Solution: The maintenance kit should be replaced at the same time as much as possible to avoid inconsistent wear on both sides and cause off-market materials


Reason D: The repair kit does not match the ceramic pump rod, there is pulsation, retraction

Solution: Replace the repair kit and tighten it as much as possible to avoid pump pressure leakage


Reason E: The pressure of pumps A and B is out of sync

Solution: It is recommended to install a hydraulic distributor to distribute the pressure of the two pumps 1:1


Reason F: Inconsistent nozzle flow

Solution: Change the nozzle with a larger flow rate on the slow side


Reason G: The pipeline is not cleaned, the pipe wall is thick, the inner diameter is small, and the material is slow

Solution: Replace the pipe, clean the equipment thoroughly at the end of each construction (the internal mixing gun must be cleaned for 2 minutes in the middle of the work)


Reason H: Gun curing

Solution: Replace the needle repair kit


Cause I: Clogged filter

Solution: Check the suction tube and filter screen, replace the filter with a new one
